We begin the day in Chania, one of Crete’s most beautiful cities. The Old Town is full of color, narrow streets, local shops, and cozy cafés. As you explore, you’ll see traces of Minoan ruins, Venetian walls, Turkish mosques, and the famous lighthouse by the harbor—a blend of cultures that makes Chania truly special.

Next, we visit Lake Kournas, Crete’s only natural freshwater lake. Surrounded by green hills, it’s a peaceful place to relax. You can swim, rent a paddle boat, walk along the shore, or enjoy a Cretan lunch by the water. The lake is also a protected home to birds, turtles, and fish.

On the way back, we stop in Rethymno, the island’s third-largest town. Its charming Old Town features narrow streets, Venetian buildings, Turkish minarets, and a scenic harbor—perfect for a stroll or a coffee before heading back.
