Join us on the Preveli Tropical Beach Tour and discover one of South Crete’s most stunning and unique beaches. Located at the mouth of Kourtaliotiko Gorge, where the Grand River flows into the sea, Preveli Beach is known for its tropical vibe and natural beauty. In the 1960s and ’70s, it became a favorite spot for hippies.

As we arrive, you’ll see tall Theophrastus palm trees lining the riverbanks, forming Crete’s second-largest palm forest after Vai. The river creates a small lake before reaching the sea, and you can explore the shaded river path or nearby canyon.

The beach is a mix of soft sand and pebbles, with clear turquoise water ideal for swimming. Don’t miss the heart-shaped rock on the east side—perfect for photos. You’ll have about four hours of free time to enjoy the area at your own pace.

Before reaching the beach, we stop at a cliffside viewpoint for pictures. Then we follow a scenic footpath with around 300 steps, taking about 15 minutes to descend.

After a relaxing day in nature, we return to the bus and head back to your hotel.
